Anna Daria Drożdżowicz

Academic interests

I work on several topics in philosophical methodology and epistemology of linguistic understanding. In particular, I am interested in the use of intuitive judgements in philosophy of language and linguistics, conscious states of linguistic understanding and knowledge of meaning. I also have a background in psychology, specifically in psycholinguistics.

Background

I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Oslo in 2015. I studied philosophy (MA, 2011) and psychology (MA, 2012) at Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Since 2012, I have been affiliated with CSMN. In 2015/2016 I worked as a PhD Fellow with Completion Grant at the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas. In June 2016 I will start working as a postdoctoral researcher in the project “Justifying intuitive judgements” at Aarhus University. I am also an associated researcher at the Psychology of Language and Bilingualism Lab “LangUsta” (Jagiellonian University).
