2 Short Term Researcher Positions at CSMN's Moral Agency Branch

The Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature (CSMN) at the University of Oslo advertises 2 researcher positions à 6 months for developing research projects for external funding. The projects must be relevant to the research fields of the Moral Agency Branch of CSMN.

The Moral Agency branch explores a set of interrelated questions regarding (1) Responding to normative and moral reasons; (2) Constructivism in ethics; (3) Normative and moral disagreement; (4) Blameworthiness and forgiveness, and (5) Meeting the challenges of global poverty. During the sixth months of engagement, preferably lasting from 1 December 2016 to 30 May 2017, a successful applicant is supposed to develop a project description/project application in accordance with the requirements of the FRIPRO grant of the Research Council of Norway. The applicant is expected to be present at CSMN during a substantial part of this period.

Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must have a PhD degree in philosophy or other relevant fields, and should preferably have some experience in writing project applications.

A short letter of application.
A CV including a publication list.
A sketch of a research project (max 1000 words)/draft of a project description.

6 months full time position (SKO 1110). Pay grade 64 (monthly salary: NOK 45 758).
