3 Short-Term Pre-PhD Stipends at CSMN Moral Agency Branch
The Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature (CSMN) at the University of Oslo advertises 3 stipends à 3 months for developing projects for PhD fellowship applications. The stipends provide financial support to applicants who want to prepare for doctoral studies in the fields of the Moral Agency Branch of CSMN.
The Moral Agency branch explores a set of interrelated questions regarding (1) Responding to normative and moral reasons; (2) Constructivism in ethics; (3) Normative and moral disagreement; (4) Blameworthiness and forgiveness, and (5) Meeting the challenges of global poverty. During the stipend period, a successful applicant shall, under supervision, develop a solid project description, including a clearly formulated research topic, a disposition, and a timeframe for the work. The applicant is expected to be present at CSMN during a substantial part of this period.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must have a MA degree in philosophy or other relevant fields. The master thesis must be graded to A or B. The successful applicants must be able to work full time on the project during the stipend period.

A sketch of a planned PhD-project (max 500 words)/draft of a project description.
Copies of relevant certificates/transcripts of marks.
3 months full time position (SKO 1020). Pay grade 42 (monthly salary: NOK 31 666,-)
