Jag fick anställning som førsteamanuensis i praktisk filosofi vid IFIKK/CSMN i juli 2014. Huvuddelen av min forskning behandlar olika teman i metaetik, men jag har även författat uppsatser i estetik, experimentell filosofi och normativ etik. I min avhandling, Moral Reality. A Defence of Moral Realism (2004), försvarar jag en naturalistisk, icke-reduktionistisk, version av moralisk realism. Under senare tid har jag särskilt intresserat mig för kopplingen mellan moraliskt språk och attityder, samt kopplingen mellan normativa skäl för handling och rationalitet. Jag har undervisat i de flesta ämnen inom praktisk filosofi, inklusive metaetik, normativ etik, estetik, och religionsfilosofi. Tidigare var jag verksam vid Lunds universitet och Göteborgs universitet.
