Design history, visual/material culture, popular culture, historiography, theory and method.

Background:

M.Phil in history (2001) and PhD in cultural history (2007) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Postdoc Research Fellow in NTNU's Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture before I joined the University of Oslo, Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas in 2009 - first as Associate Professor, then Professor since 2013.
