Academic interests
Bendik Hellem Aaby does research in philosophy of biology and philosophy of action. His research concerns, amongst other things, the role behavior plays in evolutionary theory, about the attribution of agency to non-human organisms, and to what extent purposiveness can be adequately accounted for by evolutionary theory.
