The Centre for Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies wishes to be a meeting point for research, both within Norway and internationally.

How to work with us?

One of the Centre's main objectives is to promote positive synergy between researchers in the field of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies both nationally and internationally. We have a particular wish to stimulate collaborations between researchers at UiO and elsewhere in the region around Oslo, between researchers in the Nordic region, and between Norwegian researchers and their colleagues in the Middle East.
