Research training at the Faculty of Humanities

All PhD students in the Department of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages (IKOS) must either be registered as a PhD candidate in the PhD programme at the Faculty of Humanities or present themselves as a candidate for the open dr. philos. degree. Supervisors must be employed at IKOS.

The PhD programme in the Faculty of Humanities has seven lines of study. Each PhD line of study has a committee, with a head of line, who has the day-to-day responsibility for the academic content. Teaching is organised by the committee in close collaboration with the academic units.
