NorSA - Nordic South Asia cooperation

NorSA seeks to offer students of South Asia studies in the Nordic region access to a larger number of MA courses. Digital learning tools, such as video conference and blogs, play important roles.

This is a pilot project. Our goal is to offer NorSA courses in a common pool available to students at the cooperating universities.

At present the cooperating universities are:

  • Institutt for kulturstudier og orientale språk, Universitetet i Oslo
  • Institut for Tværkulturelle og Regionale Studier, Københavns Universitet
  • Institut for Kultur og Samfund, Arts, Aarhus Universitet
  • Institutionen för litteratur, idéhistoria och religion, Göteborgs Universitet
  • Institutionen för Lingvistik och Filologi, Uppsala Universitet

The project is financed by the Norwegian Opening Universities, a political initiative for opening Norwegian universities and colleges in various ways.
