Learning by failing

A busy semester is almost over, and little has happened with reference to NorSa. Why did the first semester fail?

In this entry I first give a brief review of this semester, then I turn towards some suggestions.

We got no outsider students for the two courses. The reasons are to short time and mismatch in program structure (when does our students have the option to freely select a course?).

At UiO we have taught the NorSA course for our students, and we want to continue offer it: http://www.uio.no/studier/emner/hf/ikos/SAS4510/ So if you got any potential students, let us know.

While we might have problems in establishing courses for Spring 2012 we have enough time to create a good program for Autumn 2013 and time to inform our students about the choices they have.

We need to look into the possibility to adjust program structures or allow space for our common courses.
