Background
Christian Keller is working in North Atlantic archaeology. He is also organizing a fieldschool in North Atlantic archaeology in Iceland, together with Icelandic and American universities. Regions of special interest are the Norse settlements in the Viking and Middle Ages, with a special interest in Iceland, Greenland and Newfoundland. Cross-disciplinary cultural landscape studies.
Christian Keller has a background from underwater archaeology, and worked for 15 years in Cultural Managemen for the University Museum of National Antiquities in Oslo.
He has fieldwork experience from the Scandinavian countries, Switzerland, Turkey, Cyprus, Thailand, Greenland, Iceland and Spitzbergen.
