Pågående forskning

  • Prosjektet "Digitalisering av arabisk lærebok " går ut på å skape en interaktiv kommunikasjonsplatform knyttet til klassisk-arabiske vitenskapelige tekster, for studenter og lærere.
     
  • Sibawayhi-prosjektet vil digitalisere og kommentere flere utdrag fra Sibawayhis grammatikktraktat al-Kitab. 
     
  • Prosjektet "Elektronisk utgave av Encyclopedia of Arabic Language and Linguistics" går ut på å digitalisere det bestående firebinds-verket EALL og å tilføye nye artikler.
     
  • Prosjektet "Tekster på jødiske språk" vil undersøke tekster på ulike jødiske språk (hebraisk, arameisk, jødisk-arabisk, Yiddish, Ladino og jødisk-fransk) og har som formål å publisere en monografi som inneholder grammatiske skisser av disse språkvariantene samt kommenterte tekstene med interlineær transkripsjon og oversettelse.
  • I prosjektet "Flerspråklighet, Linguae Francae og vitenskapelige begrepers globale historie" publiseres sentrale tekster i sitt orginalspråk, sammen med et økende antall oversettelser. De flerspråklige tekstene har stor relevans og betydning:
    • for å forstå den globale idé- og vitenskapshistorien, og for filologien generelt.
    • for den lingvistisk rettede språkforskningen
    • for semantikk og begrepsforskning
    • for historieforskningen generelt
