I am a professor of general linguistics at the Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies, University of Oslo. My field of research is the syntax of Norwegian and related languages within generative grammar, especially Lexical Functional Grammar. I have published on possessive expressions, reflexives and body part nouns, surface anaphora, clausal complementation, passive and impersonal sentences, and auxiliaries, light verbs, complex predicates, and pseudocoordination.

My home page has more information about my research, and some downloads.
