Translatio Network
Translatio is a Nordic network for an interdisciplinary approach to textual and cultural translation in the Middle Ages.
The Translatio network was formed in 2010 by scholars from the University of Oslo, University of Copenhagen, University of Iceland and the University of Stockholm.
With a particular focus on the Nordic Region, our ambition is to establish a forum for the interdisciplinary study of translation not only of texts, but also of culture and ideas in the Middle Ages.
The members of the network are scholars from many fields of humanistic scholarship, for instance Old Norse philology, Latin Philology, Art History and History.
