The talks will take place in the Helga Engs hus building at the university campus Blindern.



In 1913, Helga Eng defended her dissertation Abstract Concepts in Children’s Thought and Speech.

The building is indicated with a blue arrow.

The closest metro station is Blindern on the blue line to the west. The station is served by three metro lines: 3, 4, and 5.

The closest tram station, served by the lines 17 and 18, is Universitetet Blindern on the light blue line to the north.

Blindern is north-west of the city centre.

To go from Oslo Central Station to Blindern, take metro line 3 Sognsvann, 4 Ringen, or 5 Storo from Jernbanetorget.
To go from Hotel Munch to Blindern, either take metro line 3 Sognsvann, 4 Ringen, or 5 Storo from Stortinget or Nationaltheatret, or tram line 17 or 18 Rikshospitalet from Tinghuset or Tullinløkka.
To go from the youth hostel Haraldsheim to Blindern, either take metro line 4 Bergkrystallen westward from Sinsen (the fast way) or tram line 17 Rikshospitalet southward from Sinsen (the slow but scenic way).
