Idiomaticity in English and Norwegian
Idiomaticity concerns the natural, native-like selection and co-selection of words and grammatical constructions. Idiomatic language use varies across languages, registers and proficiency levels. This research group uses corpora to explore idiomaticity cross-linguistically (focusing on English and Norwegian), across proficiency levels (L1 and L2 English) and across registers.
The project Idiomaticity in English and Norwegian: Corpus-based approaches is described in more detail here.
