Pragmatikk (Gricean / post-Gricean); Relevans Teori; innledning, resonnement og rasjonalitet; metarepresentation; semantikk av naturlige språk; leksikalsk modulering og "ad hoc-konsepter"; juridisk språk og tolkning i engelskspråklige vanlige tradisjoner; lingvistikkens filosofi, særlig om "kognitivt realistiske" tilnærminger som generativ grammatikk og relevanssteori.

Jeg har publisert (se nedenfor) på rollen som forutsetninger om rasjonalitet i stort sett Gricean-pragmatikk, metarepresentasjon og pragmatikk, 'leksikalisk modulering' og betydningen av ord; tolkning av juridisk språk, spillteoretisk pragmatikk; pragmatiske illusjoner; misforståelser; og Chomsky's lingvistikk, psykologi og filosofi.
