English-Norwegian Parallel Corpus

In order to gain access to the above corpora, fill in the following form. Please tick the boxes to the right of the statements as proof that they have been read and understood. We would also like a brief description of what you intend to use the corpora for, i.e. what research question(s) the material is needed for, and whether the investigation(s) will be part of a dissertation or course work. Please specify which languages (databases) you want access to.

If you are not a student or a member of staff at the arts faculties of the universities of Oslo or Bergen, you must name a contact person at one of those two institutions.

If your application is granted, you will receive a username and password via e-mail.

STATEMENT 1:

I promise to use the corpora solely for academic, non-commercial purposes.

STATEMENT 2:

I promise not to copy and/or distribute the corpus texts outside the University of Oslo / University of Bergen.

STATEMENT 3:

I promise to keep my password strictly confidential, and will not pass it on to any institution or person.

STATEMENT 4:

I will always refer to the corpora by name and URL in all published as well as unpublished material produced on the basis of, or with the aid of, corpus material from the ENPC/OMC (papers, articles, etc.).
