Exchange programmes
The Department of Media and Communication has exchange programmes with several teaching institutions in Europe and the USA. Students at both Bachelor and Master degree levels have the opportunity to study abroad for one or two semesters. Study periods abroad count as part of the Norwegian degree.
Exchange programmes for students and staff members are currently being negotiated with the University of Strathclyde and the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3.
The department is also concentrating efforts on developing cooperation partnerships in the USA. Exchange programmes are already in place with the University of California at Berkeley and further ones are being planned with New York University, University of Indiana and University of Iowa.
