What does it mean to be human in the digital age? The question of being human is for networked populations today highly entangled with digital media. The digitalisation of everyday life and our entire lifeworld raises a number of existential issues that relate both to what is mundane and to what is extraordinary.
The Centre for Research on Media Innovations at the Department of Media and Communications, University of Oslo invites researchers interested in Digital Research Ethics to a seminar and roundtable discussion on 1 December 2017. We will present and discuss contemporary ethical dilemmas that relate to digital research.
The Centre for Research on Media Innovations (CRMI) invites you all to participate in a workshop on Digital Research Ethics. The workshop is part of a collaboration between researchers at CRMI, IMK, the Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR) and Aline Shakti Franzke. The aim is to support researchers in ethical decision-making processes.
