The Centre for Research on Media Innovations (CRMI) invites you all to participate in a workshop on Digital Research Ethics. The aim is to support researchers in ethical decision-making processes.

If you use digital research methods, are interested in research ethics and/or use digital data in your research, doctoral or master thesis, you may benefit from this workshop. Many researchers encounter difficult decision-making processes as they relate to ethical principles such as informed consent, respecting the autonomy and privacy of research participants, and ways to gather, store and anonymize data. This workshop intends to establish and support the development of a meeting point for active and collaborative collegiate discussions about these topics. If you want to hear the experiences and opinions of other researchers, this workshop is for you.
More detailed information about the workshop, its aims and objectives are provided in this document.
In any event please let us know by 30 September 2017 if you intend to participate so that we can make sure that we have enough space, etc.. You can register by sending an email to Niamh Ní Bhroin.
