How to get a supervisor for your thesis
In order to get a supervisor at the Department of Media and Communication, you must present a project description which must be approved. The study advisor will appoint your supervisor.
Project description
The project description should be submitted in the master's thesis seminar, normally in your first semester.
Approved project description, change of project
In the case of changing your project, it is not necessary to submit a new project description to the department as long as your new project allows you to stay with the supervisor allready appointed to you.
A new project description must be presented to the department as usual, if your new project requires a change of supervisor. The new project description must then be submitted to studiekonsulent@media.uio.no
