Nordic Seminar 24th - 25th of October

A two-day Nordic Seminar will be hosted by the NFR-funded research project 'Popular Music and Gender in a Transcultural Context', led by professor Stan Hawkins. This will take place on the 24th and 25th of October at Helga Engs house, and is open to all students and staff. Keynote speakers will include John Richardson (Turku University), Erik Steinskog (University of Copenhagen) and Steven Feld (University of Indiana, Professor II Oslo). The event will also include research papers by scholars from Turku University and project researchers, as well as a panel debate featuring staff from the Department of Musicology.
