Jonsson is Associate Professor at the Department of Child and Youth Studies, Stockholm University.
His research interests concern a) language and masculinity in multilingual urban settings, as well as b) the construction of the immigrant young male stereotype in mundane classroom talk, and c) narratives of failing boys in school.
