Jeg er en anvendt lingvist som jobber i skjæringspunktet mellom lingvistikk, utdanning og antropologi for å undersøke og for å bidra til språkinnlæring, literacy og sosial rettferdighet i flerspråklige utdanningskontekster. Nåværende forskningen min fokuserer på lærernes kritiske språkbevissthet (critical language awareness), synspunkter om sosial endring i flerspråklige regioner, og pedagogikk for språkrevitalisering, flerspråklighet og multiliteracy.
