Challenges and opportunities of publishing in the environmental humanities

Workshop with Dr Katie Ritson, Managing Editor at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment & Society.

Dr Ritson will talk about her experience of editing and on the challenges and opportunities of publishing in the environmental humanities. As managing editor Katie has responsibility for editing the in-house journal RCC Perspectives: Transformations in Environment and Society, for the RCC blog "Seeing the Woods," and for regular special issues of the international journal Global Environment.

Dr Ritson is series editor of RCC Perspectives and has worked as a freelance editor and translator of scholarly writing. She studied German, Scandinavian and Comparative Literature at the universities of Cambridge and Munich, receiving her Doctoral degree in 2016.
