Professor i kunsthistorie ved IFIKK Bente Larsen, har sammen med professor i engelskspråkling litteratur Jakob Lothe redigert boken, som  de også har bidratt til med en felles innledning og egne artikler.

This collection owes its inception to the research initiative UiO: Nordic launched by the University of Oslo in 2014. Four of the chapters are written by PhD candidates in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Oslo.
