Academic interests

Mentality in Iron Age Scandinavia and archaeological dissemination are my main interests. Thus far, my academic experience has been primarily been towards exploring mentality in Late Iron Age Scandinavia, specifically through an in-depth analysis of the animal art carvings of the Oseberg ship.

Background

My interest in archaeological dissemination has been practically focused, through my experience as a guide and disseminator at The Viking Ship Museum (2015-2020) and The Museum of Cultural History (2017-2020). In addition to my position as HEI's research and outreach coordinator (beginning in January 2021), I am also the dissemination coordinator for The Gjellestad Ship Excavation in Halden, Norway (beginning in July 2020).

Education

2019 Master in Archaeology. The University in Oslo. Gripping Creatures on a Sailing Wind Horse.
