Academic interests

In my PhD project, I'm working on topics at the intersection between philosophy of mind,  philosophy of action, and philosophy of cognitive science. In particular, I'm interested in those mental actions that are highly automatic and spontaneous, and that are difficult to control. For instance, that is the case of creative thinking, the activity that leads to the appearance of new ideas. I'm also interested in the role of attention in action, and in the way (implicit) bias influences what we do.
