Structural imbalances? Promoting gender equality in history and philosophy

The purpose of this workshop is to contribute to promoting gender equality in history and philosophy at UiO. We ask why there are so few women in these subjects (both among students and faculty), and what strategies might be used to improve the situation. History and philosophy will be treated in common, since the two subjects are unusual at HF in their lack of balance. All are welcome.

Keynote: Professor Nicola Miller, University College London. Professor Miller ledet arbeidsgruppen for likestilling ved Royal Historical Society som lagde rapporten Promoting Gender Equality in UK History: A Second Report and Recommendations for Good Practice (2018)

Alle er velkomne!
