Sino-Norwegian Centre for the Study of Society and Environment (SINORSE)

SINORSE coordinates and initiates research and teaching about society and environment in collaboration between scholars, teachers and students from the University of Oslo (UiO), Zhejiang University (ZJU), and Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin.

About the Centre

Sino-Norwegian Centre for the Study of Society and Environment (SINORSE) facilitates student exchange at the post-graduate level between UiO and ZJU on these topics.

Research and teaching connected to SINORSE have a firm basis within the humanities and social sciences, but SINORSE also aims to build new research projects and teaching activities in collaboration with other disciplines, for instance within the natural sciences.
