I forbindelse med midtveisevalueringen av vår PhD-stipendiat Erling Lorentzen Sogge inviterer vi alle interesserte til et åpent seminar der Sogges forskningsarbeid og tilstøtende tema blir diskutert

We all work with concepts; however, our awareness of them differs a lot. Some use them as mere linguistic means of communication, others as theoretical frameworks, others again as methodological tools. There are even those who take concepts to be the main object of investigation.

In this seminar we will discuss different aspects of Eurocentrism, both political and academic, and welcome presentations that reflect on their own dealings with question of time, history and identity within this framework.

Faggruppen for kulturhistorie og museologi arrangerer 13. juni 2016 et seminar om aktør-nettverkteori (ANT) som historisk metode. Formålet med seminaret er at stipendiater spesifikt interessert i ANT brukt på historisk materiale, skal kunne diskutere relevante spørsmål knyttet til dette.

Et heldags avhandlingsseminar for alle PhD-kandidater på IKOS. Formatet på seminaret er presirkulert paper på maksimum 20 sider, med en muntlig introduksjon på om lag 10 minutter. Det utnevnes en opponent for hvert paper.
