South Asian Festivals on the Move er redigert av Ute Hüsken og Axel Michaels

Boka diskuterer festivaler i sør-asiatiske tradisjoner i India, Nepal, Sri Lanka og Tyskland. Den består av fire hovedkapitler, “Festivals as Sites of Public Negotiation”, “The Global and the Local”, “People on the Move: Festivals and Processions as Public Events” og “The Old, the New and the Old Renewed”, og innheholder bidrag fra flere forskere.

Ute Hüsken har skrevet artikkelen "Flag and Drum: Managing Conflicts in a South Indian Temple". Fra IKOS bidrar også Kerstin Schier med artikkelen "Paṅkuṉi Uttiram and the Transmission of Cultural Memory".
