Literary Criticism in Action, Part 3 - with Rita Felski (3 ECTS)

Event organized by Tina Skouen, ILOS. There are two segments to this PhD event: a talk and discussion at Litteraturhuset 13 Sept 18:00-20:00 that is open to the public and a special seminar at ILOS 14 Sept 10:15-13:00. To register for 3 ECTS you must participate both days and contribute with an assignment. Day 2 - 14 Sept: this special PhD seminar with Rita Felski will take place at Blindern 10:15-13:00

Rita Felski is William R. Kenan, Jr., Professor of English, University of Virginia, and Niels Bohr Professor, University of Southern Denmark. Her books include Critique and Postcritique (Duke UP, 2017, co-edited with Elizabeth Anker), The Limits of Critique (Chicago, 2015), Comparison: Theories, Approaches, Uses (Johns Hopkins UP, 2008, co-edited with Susan Stanford Friedman), Rethinking Tragedy (Johns Hopkins UP, 2008), Uses of Literature (Wiley-Blackwell, 2008), and Literature after Feminism (University of Chicago Press, 2003).

This is the third seminar in a series. The first seminar (with Mike Lundblad) was held at ILOS-Dept of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages in Oct 2017.
