This seminar focuses on national identities and migration, the media’s role in representing migrants, and ethnographic discourse analysis. It is aimed at doctoral students from various disciplines whose doctoral projects deal with migration, national identity, and/or discourse analysis.

The seminar consists of two lectures followed by interactive sessions.

Seminar with Geir Flikke (ILOS, project leader NEPORUS) on qualitative interviews (fenomenological method) in hybrid regimes.

The seminar is open to ILOS ph.d. candidates and gives 1 ECTS credit (assuming preparations - see reading list).
