Jeg forsker på barn og unges digitale hverdag. Mitt PhD prosjekt (2015, UiO) undersøkte hvordan unge samiske og irske mennesker brukte sosiale medier til å skape nye muligheter for kommunikasjon. Jeg bruker primært kvalitative metoder, inkludert observasjon og intervjuer. Jeg er også interessert i nye etiske utfordringer som oppstår når man forsker med og på barn og unge i digitale medier.
Jeg har undervist i mediehistorie og medie institusjoner, metode og journalistikk ved Instituttet for medier og kommunikasjon, UiO.
