Data management and protection for musicology
Good and safe data management is an essential part of any research project, including masters' projects. We would like to welcome you to this data management and protection workshop.
Part I: Data management and protection, a crash course, 12:15-1:00, Zoom
In the first part of this course we will introduce you to the most important aspects of data management and protection. We will also show you how to implement good data management practices in your own research project, including how to classify the types of the data you are working with, how to organise and document them, and how to store them securely.
Part II: Hands-on workshop on NSD notification forms, 1:15-2:00, ZEB Salen
The introductory lecture will be followed by a hands-on workshop for musicology students (MUS4226) on filling out NSD notification forms for personal data (on-site, in Norwegian).
The workshop is lead by Agata Bochynska, Senior Academic Librarian at the University Library and Digital Scholarship Center.
