Om prosjektet
Prosjektet tar utgangspunkt i en studiesituasjon der studentene er fordelt på to campuser, en høyaktuell problemstilling etter strukturreformen i høyskolesektoren. Vårt mål er å utvikle effektiv pedagogikk med aktivitet på begge campuser samtidig, og med særlig vekt på samhandling, ressursdeling og kommunikasjon. Vi vil ta for oss etablerte strategier for studentaktiv læring og utvikle dem videre i en «cross-campus» kontekst:
- Samarbeidslæring: Prosjektarbeid, problembasert læring og utviklingsprosjekter i grupper på tvers av campus.
- Omvendt klasserom: Utvikling av digitalt læringsmateriell og felles metoder for fordypning, drøfting og anvendelse av fagstoff på tvers av campus.
Det felles masterprogrammet Music, communication and technology (NTNU og UiO) utgjør rammen for prosjektet. SALTO vil være et åpent laboratorium for to-campus-undervisning og vil jevnlig dele erfaringer med interne og eksterne fagmiljø.
Mål
Prosjektet vil forvalte og foredle et to-campus læringsrom for fysisk-virtuell samhandling over nett, og la studenter og lærere sammen utforske pedagogiske, metodiske og teknologiske løsninger.

Prosjektet finansieres av NTNU og Universitetet i Oslo.
