PhD project

In my PhD-project, I study the representation of Jews in Norwegian literature from the 19th and 20th century. In the search to uncover beliefs and attitudes towards Jewish people in the public discourse around this time, I look at different types of literature. Here, the genres can range from the more known popular literature to more or less unread types of texts.

In my analysis, I use post-colonial theories from central theoreticians like Edward Said and Homi Bhabha.
