Practical information

The 12th International Conference of Nordic and General Linguistics will take place on Zoom, following the common format of 20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A. Each session will have its own meeting, and we will send links in advance to the e-mail address given at registration. We ask presenters to log in approximately 10 minutes prior to the session start to set up screen sharing.

Session chairs will keep time. When there are two minutes left of each talk, i.e., at minute 18, chairs will unmute their microphones and say, “two minutes.” After each paper (20 min. presentation + 10 min. Q&A), the chair will either introduce the next speaker or close the session.

For the Q&A, please indicate that you wish to ask a question by typing your name into the chat function. The session chairs will then invite you to ask your question to the presenter(s). We ask that you hold the use of the chat for questions until after the presentation.

There will be three concurrent sessions (see program here). Below you will find Zoom links for the conference talks and social meetings. We will also send daily e-mails with the program and links for that day. If you have any issues logging into Zoom or accessing the meetings, please e-mail so we can provide assistance.
