POSTPONED: Languaging in the digital family – Nordic perspectives
This seminar brings together three on-going Nordic projects that focus on language and digital interaction in families.
The seminar is postponed until autumn. The new dates will be published as soon as they are available.
The three projects are
- “What’s in the App? Digitally-mediated communication within contemporary multilingual families across time and space” (WhatsInApp, University of Jyväskylä)
- “Language and Social Media in the Family” (SoMeFamily, Københavns Universitet)
- “Media and linguistic repertoires in Norwegian-Senegalese families” (MultiLing, UiO)
The aim of this seminar is to discuss and compare findings and to explore conceptual connections across the projects, as the MultiLing project is coming to an end in June 2020.
The seminar will offer to members of the three groups the occasion to discuss draft papers/chapters and to engage in collaborative data sessions. The seminar starts with presentations of the three projects open to anyone interested.
If you are would like to take part in the data sessions, please sign up here.
