A warm welcome to Nathan Albury
Nathan Albury is a new PhD fellow at MultiLing.
Albury works on language policy and indigenous languages. His PhD project is entitled "Language Revitalisation in New Zealand and Norway: the Folk Linguistics of Indigenous and Non-indigenous Youth", and examines and compares the folk linguistic perspectives of youth in New Zealand and Norway on the revitalisation of Te Reo and the Sámi languages as topics of language policy.
Albury completed his MA at the University of New England, Australia, in 2013. He has since been a doctoral research fellow at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
