Who is eligible for a grant?
The grants will be awarded three students who are writing their theses on topics within one of MultiLing's three research themes: Multilingual competence, Multilingual language practices and Multilingualism, ideologies and language policies.
The application must contain:
- A short description of the project including the topic, research question and method (maximum 3 pages). It must be made clear how far along the student is with the work on the MA thesis.
- Transcript of records for BA and MA courses taken by the student
- Recommendation letter from supervisor
- The application can be written in Norwegian or English
To be eligible for the scholarship, students have to be enrolled at the University of Oslo and plan to hand in master’s thesis fall 2021 or spring 2022.
