Narratives as outcome measure in a quadrilingual speaker with aphasia (completed)
About the project
To assess the languages of multilinguals with aphasia is a challenge, and there is little test material for this purpose. The aim of this project is to investigate how the use of narratives can complement the assessment of the language impairments and the impact of speech and language therapy in a quadrilingual person with aphasia. The results of the analyses of the free narratives are compared with results from the Bilingual Aphasia Test to explore the possible transfer and inhibition effects between languages and between different types of tasks.
