A new paper by fourMs researcher Anne Danielsen, Effects of instructed timing and tempo on snare drum sound in drum kit performance, has been published by the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America.  (PDF)

Two postdoctoral research fellowships in Music Technology and /or Music Production are available at the Department of Musicology for work within the fourMs research project. 

In addition, the Department of Informatics offers a PhD or postdoctoral research fellowship in Self-aware Interactive Music Systems.

This year's International Conference on New Interfaces for Musical Expression was held at Louisiana State University. Researchers and affiliates of the fourMs group contributed with 3 publications.
