The Sebeok-Love Award is granted to the Best Paper published in Language Sciences, and the co-written article "Voices in Reading Literature" by the LCE project 'Voice in Literature' has been selected as the Runner-Up in 2024. The project brings together anthropologist Sarah Bro Trasmundi, Old Norse specialist Stefka Eriksen, literary scholar Karin Kukkonen and linguist Dag-Tore Kristiansen.

The article ("Voices in Reading Literature" at sciencedirect.com) draws on empirical work comparing reading aloud and reading silently and analyses the differences by developing an interdisciplinary approach crossing the levels of phonology, cognitive processes in reading and historical and contemporary reading practices.
