Environmental Humanities Week

From 7 to 10 June, the Oslo School of Environmental Humanities cordially invites you to an "Environmental Humanities Week". With a series of events, we will celebrate the exciting work happening in the field, here at UiO, and beyond.
A tall sunflower fills the frame, in the background there are skyscrapers.

On 7 June, we will kick off the week with a public talk by Tim Ingold (University of Aberdeen) on "Reason and Response-Ability" and panel discussion on "Reclaiming Sustainability" at Kulturhuset, Oslo.

On 8 and 9 June, we organise a PhD Researcher School on "Situated Research - Exploring Place and Time Through the Environmental Humanities", as part of the Norwegian Researcher School in the Environmental Humanities (NoRS-EH).
On 10 June, we invite all interested to our Environmental Humanities Festival. The day will start with a Keynote Lecture by Professor Jamie Lorimer (University of Oxford), followed by presentations of the OSEH Collaboratories, a pop-up exhibition, a music by the UiO choir, and more.
