What tasks did you perform during your internship?

– I worked on a bit of everything. Among other things, I contributed to the news magazine, took part in work on larger projects through writing and providing feedback, and participated in meetings.

How did you use skills you have acquired from your education at the Faculty of Humanities?

– The studies at the Faculty of Humanities has given me solid academic competence, which has been extremely useful in working with theories, concepts and academic issues in practice. My studies have also given me a good understanding of how society is organized. Being able to apply this knowledge in practice has shown me how relevant and valuable an HF education is.

What do you think is or was the greatest benefit from your internship?

– The greatest benefit has been seeing how you can build a bridge between theory and practice. Theories, concepts and complex understandings of society are not just abstract explanations, but tools that can be used in working life and help improve people’s living conditions.

Anything else you would like to add?

– I will encourage all students to apply for an internship. An internship not only provides valuable practical and academic experience, but also the opportunity to get to know many skilled people. HF studies can be used for far more than many might think, and an internship is a great way to discover the many exciting opportunities.
