Welcome to our November BærUt! network meeting. In preparation for the upcoming BærUt! conference, this meeting will be a backcasting workshop where we will discuss where we hope the situation for digital scholarly editions will be in the future. 

Join us for our "Encoding Lab" series, designed as a supportive and collaborative space for participants of the Summer School "Create Your Digital Scholarly Edition from Scratch" and anyone else interested in text encoding or preparing digital scholarly editions using XML and the TEI standard.

The BærUt! Project is going towards its end, and during the closing conference we will present our finds, and discuss what lies ahead of us.

In this workshop, you will learn how to work with old maps in QGIS. We will geo-reference such maps, and extract relevant information so we can use it to make new maps.
