The ELENOR Corpus

ELENOR (Español Lengua Extranjera en Noruega/Spanish as a Foreign Language in Norway) is a database containing texts in Spanish written as course assignments by university students in Norway.

The texts were originally written as course assignments (e.g., exams from the course Practical Spanish SPA1100 at UiO) and thus provide access to a variety of texts on the same topic. ELENOR is created with the search tool Glossa.

Glossa allows for various searches within the original versions of transcribed texts or corrected versions. In the corrected version, it is possible to select the type of correction performed. It also displays the exercise the student responded to, information about the student, as well as the original response.

ELENOR is a project by Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages, University of Oslo (ILOS) in collaboration with the Text Laboratory. Contact person: Maximino J. Ruiz Rufino
